During the first two weeks of life, when your baby is most delicate, we’ll create a studio-style session using a variety of natural and organic props. You can choose colours and styles that resonate with your taste and complement your home decor. The session will last 2-3 hours, allowing us to style, pose, and soothe your little one. I’ll bring everything needed for your session. Simply prepare yourself for this special experience, then sit back, relax, and leave the rest to me as I create timeless memories that will look stunning on display.

To reserve your preferred session, Kmerritt Photography kindly requests a non-refundable session fee. where are you located & do you travel?

I'm based in Whiteheads Creek just out of Seymour and yes, I travel! I no longer have a studio I work from, so all sessions will be in-home or at a location of your choice. If you want me to photograph your story, it may require a travel fee, depending on where it takes place. Travel fees are generally only added if the travel time is over 60 minutes each way. But this is always discussed with you prior to your sessions.

Generally speaking newborns under 14 days new are easier to pose and get into those cute curly poses we all love and adore. But not only that, all newborns have a certain "look" to them. Usually within a week or two, that newborn-like quality starts to disappear. The point of newborn photos is to capture that newborn look, so I always recommend photographing as early as possible.
